A Day at Disneyland

Fumie and Yurie were in Japan for Yurie's birthday, so I took decided to have a small birthday party for Yurie when she got back. We invited some friends from my work, and their two daughters, and all went to Disneyland on Chinese New Year day.

The crowds weren't too bad and everyone seemed to have a very fun day.

David and Aria watching the parade with Yurie and me.

Not everything was fun, but she did come to like this ride too. Here is the after picture - all better!

I asked what she liked best and got this look. I get this from Fumie all the time too!

Of course she didn't have to tell me what she liked best, it was obviuosly this little guy.

Some rides just aren't meant to be done just after lunch. At least I was able to take some photos while they rode it.

The end of a fun day.

konnichiwa!

Hi. David is a little bit lazy, so I will write this to show more of Yurie's pictures.

The baby doll and stroller is a sweet granma's present for Yurie. She loves to go out with these.

Right: Yurie is running. I wonder why she is so serious?

Left: She is tired already.....

New Years Eve

On New Years Eve we went to the coffee house in the Eaton Hotel, a favourite place for Fumie. From the looks of it, it might just become a favourite place for Yurie too!

A New Bed for Yurie

We finally converted Yurie's crib into a bed. Of course she is happy since bedtime just became a game of hide and seek.

Christmas Morning

As this picture shows, Christmas morning can be a bit overwhelming.

What does this expression mean?

What does this expression mean?

I am not sure what it means, but I get this look quite often now.

A day in the playground

I like the following pictures, they are pretty representative of a typical day in the playground for Yurie.

She just loves to climb.

Her new favourite is the slide.

Although the swing is still fun, it is now second best.

Second post, testing pictures.

First picture, as a test.

First post

Ok, this is my first post.

I set this up due to overwhelming demand (ok, maybe one person), to share pictures, thoughts, etc. with family and friends regarding our life here in Hong Kong.

Don't expect daily updates or deep insights, but hopefully this should help everyone feel a bit more connected.
